Queensland First Nations Tourism Council (QFNTC)

The Queensland First Nations Tourism Council (QFNTC) is the newly formed independent Peak Industry Body for First Nations Tourism in the State of Queensland. The QFNTC is a not-for-profit association that has been formed as a result of a major initiative of the Queensland First Nations Tourism Plan 2020-2025 undertaken in the Queensland Year of Indigenous Tourism that has been delivered through the Indigenous Working Group of the Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) and funded by the Queensland Government.

Independent Indigenous Tourism Operating Queensland (IITOQ)

IITOQ is the creation of 8 Indigenous Tourism Businesses that came together in 2019 to begin discussions about the need to establish a network of Indigenous operators and businesses across Queensland seeking to work together as a cooperative member-based organization.

Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ)

Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) is a statutory body of the Queensland Government and the state's lead marketing, tourism experience and destination development and major events agency. Working across government and in partnership with regional tourism organisations, industry, and commercial stakeholders, we aim to build Queensland's tourism and events industry to foster innovation, drive industry growth and boost visitor expenditure. TEQ reports to the Honourable Stirling Hinchliffe MP, Minister for Tourism, Innovation and Sport and Minister Assisting the Premier on Olympics and Paralympics Sport and Engagement.

National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA)

We work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to grow the demand for Indigenous businesses, products, and services. We continue to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entrepreneurs and communities to take advantage of commercial opportunities to start and expand businesses, including through leveraging land assets and cultural knowledge.
