There are two Signature Community Australia Day Events supported by the Moreton Bay Regional Council, one in Scarborough and the other on Bribie Island. Come down and enjoy an afternoon of fun filled activities.
Australia Day Music in the Park Scarborough
G’day, get your family and friends together this Australia Day and enjoy a sunny afternoon by the bay at Scarborough Beach. From 1pm – 6pm enjoy an arvo of live music and free family fun for a cracker of a day down by the water.

Australia Day Fireworks on Bribie Island
Come on over to Bribie Island and celebrate Australia Day by the water. From 5pm – 7:30pm to enjoy an evening of festivities and free family fun, followed by fireworks from two different locations to finish an absolute ripper of a day.
Brennan Park and Chamber of Commerce Park will play host to a cracking stage program of live music, there will be games, a few food trucks, market stalls and a good ole' community sausage sizzle.
