What is it?
The Best of Queensland Experiences Program (BoQE) is an innovative program developed by TEQ that will ensure Queensland exceeds customer expectation by guiding industry to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
How does it work?
The BoQE program sets measurable benchmarks which look at everything from the number of online reviews received per annum, frequency of social media posts to online booking options. Tourism businesses must score 80+/100 to be considered a BoQE for the year.
Operators do not need to apply to be assessed, you just need to have created a FREE Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) listing before December 31st.
Why is it important?
- 93% of global travellers say their booking decisions are impacted by online reviews
- Word of mouth has the strongest impact on travel decisions and online reviews have amplified this influence
- 92% of consumers trust recommendations over ALL other forms of advertising
Additional benefits
All tourism products assessed in the BoQE program receive an individual customer insights report. The report allows operators to benchmark performance against other products across Queensland.
Successful BoQE recipients receive:
- Stamp of Recognition which operators can use on their own marketing channels
- Stamp of Recognition on operator business listing as displayed on Queensland.com
- BoQE receive prioritisation across all TEQ Marketing and activity including Queensland.com
- BoQE are included in TEQ Preferred operator database accessed by staff when planning marketing and famil activity
