What is VendorPanel?

VendorPanel is a free online procurement platform used by the Moreton Bay Regional Council to identify and engage with suppliers to provide quotes for their goods and services.

Council conducts the majority of all low-valued quotation through VendorPanel using VendorPanel public marketplace supplier list. Quotes, under a purchasing agreement,no matter the value, will be requested on VendorPanel. Counsel encourages businesses in the Moreton Bay Region to register with VendorPanel marketplace.

Please note though, registering with marketplace is no guarantee of work with the council, but doing so does make your business more visible for upcoming council tender opportunities.

How to register your business on the supplier list

Let's go through step-by-step on how to register your business.

1. Request invitation

Open a web browser and go to VendorPanel.com.au, then click on the registration link for public marketplace. Search the list of categories for the entry most relevant for your business. To see more information about the category, click on the plus (+) sign.

Once you have located the appropriate category for your business, click on the link. Fill out the form and click ‘Request Invitation’. An invitation will then be sent to your nominated email address.

If you'd like to register under several categories, you will need to go back to the public marketplace page and complete the same process for each category.

Go to your email and find the one from VendorPanel. Make sure you check your junk folder if you can't locate the email in your inbox. In the email’, click the ‘get started’ link, which will open a new web browser window. This will take you to the registration page to complete your login details and set a password. You may be required to select categories of products and services your businesses can supply, pending on the supply lists you have registered to.

2. Complete your business profile

Next you'll complete your profile, including key business details and a brief description of your business that will be visible to all purchasing from this supplier list. Please ensure this description accurately represents the goods and services your business offers.

Once you've figured plated your profile, you'll be included on the supply list, pending any approval steps the owner of that list may apply.

If you requested additional invitations for other categories, go to those emails and click the get started link. A new web browser window will open and you'll be asked to log in. The additional categories will be attached to your profile. You can review the lists you appear on an edit your business information for each supplier list. Pending on the supplier list , you may need to add compliance or qualification documentation.

To add an item, click on the update link and follow the instructions. If you require further assistance, click on the video button at the top of your profile and select ‘Adding a compliance item’ under the supplier related video section.

3. Invite your colleagues

There are two final steps to complete your business profile. The first is to invite your colleagues to help manage your business profile and respond to requests sent to the supplier list.

To do this click on the ‘manage’ link against the supplier list entry. Enter your colleagues, name and email address to send an invitation for them to set up their own unique account.

4. Upload business logo

The final step is to upload an image file of your business logo to make your profile more readily identifiable in the VendorPanel system.

To do this click on the ‘no logo’ icon against the supply list entry. Upload your logo, then click finish, which will take you back to your profile homepage. Once complete click on the preview link to view how your business will appear to buyers who will purchase from the supplier list.

The home button takes you to your VendorPanel marketplace dashboard, where you can access everything for your account, such as critical tasks and administration tools. If your business is invited to quotation, you will be emailed the opportunity when it is released, and you'll be able to review requirements, submit quotations and be notified of decisions and outcomes.
